KB0016 - Poor performance RC Outlook Add-in: It takes long time to open Outlook and create the first meeting request
After Add-in is installed, it takes 10 seconds for Outlook to open and 25 seconds to be able to create the first meeting request once it was open.
If the Add-in is uninstalled, Outlook opens up immediately.
Security settings of Internet Explorer cause the long loading of Outlook, resulting poor performance.
Open Internet Explorer, go to Settings --> Internet Options, select Advanced tab, and move to Security section.
Uncheck 2 options highlighted in the screenshot:
- Check for publisher’s certificate revocation
- Check for server certificate revocation ( requires restart)
