KB0022 - One step order goes wrong if user inputs abnormal data into fields in Shared Order Form

 

Summary

User books a reservation with SOF.

In the SOF, if user inputs long string data to Comments field or any property fields with types of text/text area/password, then the business flow goes wrong: Only New recurring reservation email is sent to Organizer, meanwhile the correct business should have been: The shared order is successfully created and New Order email is sent to Service Desk Agent.

a)      User does not input subject and some HTML tags are entered to Property fields

b)      User input some HTML tags into subject

a)      In Order Form: Radio button-typed properties are not displayed, only labels of Textbox-typed properties are displayed

b)      New Order email is sent to Service Desk Agent and body/content of this email is not displayed

 

Resolution

These have been confirmed as defects and will be reviewed for a future release of the product.
